It depends on the exact makeup bag you’ve purchased — different materials need to be cared for in different ways, so you should always double check the care instructions. Some cloth makeup bags are durable enough to be popped in the wash on a gentle cycle, and plastic bags can be turned inside out and wiped down with a damp cloth or makeup wipe.
