Xiaomi has revealed the 8H Feel Leather Smart Electric Bed X Pro. The bed has dual motors allowing you to move the back and leg areas of the device independently. You can adjust the angle of your back up to 60°, and you can raise your legs to 40°. Xiaomi suggests that you can alter the position of the bed to read or watch movies more comfortably.

The bed has built-in sensors and AI to measure how well you sleep each night. For example, the device can track your heart rate, respiration and body movement. The results are recorded in a sleep report that you can view in the Mijia app.

You can also use the Mijia app to control the angles of the bed. Alternatively, you can use Xiao AI voice commands or an accompanying remote control to alter the bed's position. The smart bed can also detect snoring and intelligently raise your back 15° to ease breathing.

The bed frame is covered in Italian leather; you can choose from the colors Wisdom Ash (gray) and Inspiration Orange. You can also customize the bed with your choice of mattress firmness, with Xiaomi offering three different options.

You will be able to pre-order the 8H Feel Leather Smart Electric Bed X Pro in China from May 7th. The price of the bed during the crowdfunding campaign will be 6,399 yuan (~US$967). After this initial pre-sale period, the gadget will cost 7,399 yuan (~US$1,118).
