Brett Thompson has been promoted to partner at KPMG Albuquerque office.

Thompson has more than 19 years of experience overseeing financial statement audits and audits of internal control. He has provided professional audit and accounting services to clients within the real estate, financial services, government contracting, manufacturing, education and federal government business environments. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. Thompson also serves on the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce board of directors, the New Mexico State University Accounting Advisory Board and the University of New Mexico Accounting Advisory Board.
