The RCMP are requesting the help of the community to help recover two missing jewelry bags.

The bags were reported missing on December 9th, 2021, and were last seen in Barnhartvale at the beginning of November. The contents of the bag are considered very sentimental and valuable to the owner, including items such as rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The owner believes the bags may have been stolen from her vehicle, but is unsure on the exact place or time that they went missing.

Constable Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson said “the jewelry bags are unique and police are hopeful someone may recall coming across them”.

Bag one is described as blue and gold quilting cloth, closes with a string, and contains individual pockets for rings and bracelets.

Bag two is described as blue and silver quilting cloth, also closes with a string, and contains individual compartments within the bag to store rings and bracelets.

If you have come across these bags, the jewelry includes but is not limited to horseshoe shaped earrings, two strand knotted necklaces, necklace with pearls, electroformed necklace, aquamarine ring, and a large pear on leather lace.

Anyone who came across the bags and jewelry, or has information about where they might be, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2021-42872.
