Nothing has just announced its plans for unveiling the Ear (Stick) earbuds. The second product in the earbuds category from Nothing has been kept largely under the wraps, and Nothing has only revealed a launch date now. The Ear (Stick) will be unveiled on October 26 via an online launch event, and will be the second earbud offering from Nothing after last year's Nothing ear (1). No details on the specifications and price yet.

Based on the teaser text and images, it seems that the Ear (Stick) will be a more affordable variant of the ear (1) earbuds, which are still among the nicest pair of earphones you can buy for less than Rs. 10,000. The new version has been rumoured to drop the noise cancellation feature in favour of a reduced price tag.

Based on the description, it seems that the Ear (Stick) will likely drop all the bells and whistles of the Ear (1) earbuds and opt for a simpler take. “Ear (stick) are half in-ear true wireless earbuds that balances supreme comfort with exceptional sound, made not to be felt when in use. They're feather-light with an ergonomic design that's moulded to your ears. Delivered in a unique charging case, inspired by classic cosmetic silhouettes, and compactly formed to simply glide into pockets,” says Nothing.

Hence, these earbuds could miss out on silicon ear tips for passive noise isolation as well as ANC. The case could also miss out on wireless charging, which is obvious with the design. Nothing could also sell it at a lower price, considering the lesser features on offer. We expect the Ear (Stick) to be priced under Rs. 5000.

With the Ear (Stick) coming in, the Nothing ecosystem now consists of three products in total. The most important one is the Nothing Phone (1), which is currently one of the best midrange Android smartphones you can buy today. The Phone (1) stands out with its semi-transparent design, a unique Glyph interface, a 120Hz OLED display, a smooth and sorted Nothing OS interface, a 4500mAh battery, and support for 33W wired charging.
