The River Region Chamber of Commerce wants to bring light to new teachers who pave the way for the success of the community’s future workforce. RRCC is once again partnering with local businesses to welcome new teachers to St. James, St. John and St. Charles parishes.

A team will be mobilized to stuff bags and deliver them to new teacher orientation meetings. Promotional items, goodies and school supply donations can be dropped off to the Chamber office at 390 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday or from 8 to 11 a.m. on Friday through July 15.
