The Dominican Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real line is getting two new sizes, both made in an eye-catching barber-pole style with two contrasting wrappers—one light and one dark.

In early July, Altadis U.S.A. will be releasing a small perfecto and toro called the Twisted Love Story and the Twisted Toro. The two sizes are rolled in one light wrapper leaf of Ecuador Connecticut that alternates with a much darker leaf of Ecuador Habano, resulting in a barber-pole effect. Underneath is a Nicaraguan binder holding together a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.

With its tapered head and nipple foot, the Twisted Love Story measures 4 1/4 inches by 46 ring gauge at its fattest point. It’s slated to retail for $8 and comes in 25-count boxes.

At 6 by 54, the Twisted Toro will retail for $9 and is packaged in boxes of 25 as well. Like all cigars from the core Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real line, the new sizes are blended to be mild to medium bodied and made in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory.
